For music lovers in the city of Hong Kong, Potato Head presents “Music Room,” showcasing latest editions of audio equipment and a selection of vinyls, placed in an acoustically-designed facility.Curated in association with Johnny Hiller, Potato Head Hong Kong’s music director, the place boasts of the latest technology in music equipment, imported from the US, the UK and Japan. The audio features include JBL Pro Blue series loudspeakers, high-end Macintosh tube preamps and amplifiers, custom-made rotary mixers from Japan, vintage Klipsch “Horn” speakers, and two industry standard Technics 1200 turntables.The facility contains a collection of more than 8000 records, which Hiller acquired over a 30-year span. The collection is updated regularly with additions from top vinyl dealers across the globe.Hosting regular classic LP events, including a monthly Ethiopian Jazz night, the “Music Room” provides a relaxed ambience for its visitors.Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek of the Music Room.
