An Evening with KORN at Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles

American heavy metal band Korn will perform at the LA’s Hollywood Palladium, on September 13, 2018.The concert “An Evening With KORN: Follow The Leader 20th Anniversary #FTL20” will mark the 20th year of the best selling album “Follow The Leader.”The heavy metal band from Bakersfield, California was formed in 1993 by three of the members of the band L.A.P.D. Their current lineup comprises of founding members James "Munky" Shaffer (rhythm guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass), Brian "Head" Welch (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Jonathan Davis (lead vocals, bagpipes), with the addition of Ray Luzier (drums), who replaced David Silveria, the band's original member in 2007.KORN began by making a demo tape, called Neidermayer's Mind. The tape was distributed free to record companies and to members of the public. The band tasted mainstream success with Follow the Leader (1998) and Issues (1999), both of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. From here there was no looking back for KORN . Their success story continued with Untouchables (2002), Take a Look in the Mirror (2003) and See You on the Other Side (2005).In 2004, the band released a compilation album, Greatest Hits Vol. 1, which spanned a decade of singles and concluded with the band's recording contract with Immortal Records and Epic Records. They then were signed by Virgin Records and went on to release See You on the Other Side in 2005 and an untitled album in 2007.KORN's other recent albums, Korn III: Remember Who You Are (2010) and The Path of Totality (2011), were released by Roadrunner Records, whereas The Paradigm Shift (2013) got released by Prospect Park and Caroline Records. Their latest album, The Serenity of Suffering, was released in October 2016.By 2012, KORN had sold an impressive 35 million copies worldwide.Twelve of their official releases had peaked in the top ten of the Billboard 200, with eight of them peaking in the top five. Seven of their official releases were certified platinum by RIAA, two certified double platinum, one a certified triple platinum, one certified five times platinum and two certified Gold.Since they begun, the Korn have sold nearly 40 million albums, touring the globe a dozen of times and have set records that are most unlikely to be surpassed.  The concert is on September 13, 2018 at Hollywood Palladium, 6215 W.
