'The Lives of Korean Women through the Eyes of Women Directors' is the special focus of the 11th edition of London Korean Film Festival (LKFF), which is underway at various locations across London since November 3. Curtains will fall soon on the LKFF on November 27, 2016. It's your last opportunity to check out the recent works by few of the most seminal contemporary film-makers.The festival took off with the UK Premiere of director Lee Kyoung-mi’s ‘The Truth Beneath,’ in keeping with the theme. The film blends several genres to create a slick, stylish and suspense-filled narrative. The festival will also see Hong Sang-soo’s ‘Yourself and Yours,’ his 18th film from an already prolific career, make its UK debut at the Closing Gala. The London Korean Film Festival events and screenings are being held at Picturehouse Central, Regent Street Cinema, Picturehouse Ritzy, Odeon Camden, Odeon Kingston, Close-up Cinema, Birkbeck Institute of the Moving Image, the British Museum and the National Film & Television School.
