‘Drones, Baby, Drones,’ two interlinking plays will end soon on November 26, 2016, at Arcola Theatre, London. It's your last opportunity to check out the riveting plays. Penned by three renowned playwrights David Greig, Ron Hutchinson and Christina Lamb, the two interlinked plays explores the scenes of America’s controversial drone wars, and asks what they will mean for our future. It is a tale of power, sex, and infighting at the top of the Washington political food chain, and its far-reaching repercussions. The two plays are ‘The Kid,’ where the plot revolves around a wedding in Pakistan hit by a missile and 7000 miles away, two drone operators begin their celebration. ‘This Tuesday’ explores shocking truth behind a CIA director’s daughter, a White House security adviser sleeps with an intern and a Pentagon General works out in the gym. This Tuesday, in an hour, they have a very important decision to make. Nicolas Kent, former Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre, directs ‘This Tuesday’ and Mehmet Ergen directs ‘The Kid’ by multi award-winning playwright David Greig (The Events, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). The cast includes Anne Adams, Joseph Balderrama, Sam Dale, Raj Ghatak, Tom McKay, and Rose Reynolds.
