Verdi’s ‘Il trovatore’ at the Royal Opera House, London

A production of “Il trovatore” directed by David Bösch will be on show at the Royal Opera House in London from December 1, 2016, through February 9, 2017.The show marks the first revival of the German director’s adaptation, which stars Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Lianna Haroutounian, Anita Rachvelishvili and Gregory Kunde. Co-produced by the Frankfurt Opera and conducted by Richard Farnes, the performance is slated to last a little under three hours with a short interval midway.
