“Long March”, an original Chinese opera marking the 80th anniversary of the ‘Long March’ (October 1934 – October 1935) instigated by the Red Army of the Communist Party of China to shirk the pursuit of the Kuomintang army, is on view at National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing and will run through October 31, 2016.The Red Army clambered up snow-capped mountains and tramped over fernlands in order to surmount over hindrances and complexities and ultimately cut through the road for a positive future of the Chinese revolution. The National Grand Theater has summoned India Green, Zou Jing, Tian Qinxin and various other outstanding inland creative artists to rebuild the setting of the ‘Long March’ for the stage.
