Dubai Opera will be playing host to the staging of “Les Miserables” from November 10 through December 2, 2016.‘Les Miserables’ is one of the most beloved musical classic which has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in 44 countries and in 22 languages in the form of film and performances. Based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo, the story in form of a performance will be staged for the first time in Dubai. The production will be performed in English by a prolific international cast, led by current Broadway stars John Owen-Jones as Jean Valjean and Hayden Tee as Javert, under the production of Sir Cameron Mackintosh. The story is set on the backdrop of French Revolution, and portrays an epic and uplifting tale about the survival of human spirit. The sublime score of this production includes classic songs like ‘I Dreamed a Dream,’ ‘On My Own,’ ‘Bring Him Home,’ ‘Do You Hear the People Sing?,’ ‘One Day More’ and many more.
