‘An American in Paris’ is a musical play, inspired by the 1951 Academy Award winning film, will run from March 4 through September 30, 2017, at the Dominion Theatre, London.The plot revolves around an American soldier, Jerry Mulligan, who decides to stay in Paris post- World War II, and become a painter. Accompanied by Adam Hochberg, a composer, and fellow veteran; and Henri Baurel, the son of wealthy French industrialists and wannabe song and dance man. They imagine a better world for themselves. Until Jerry is reunited with the mysterious girl and he meets the headstrong American philanthropist, Milo Davenport’s life takes a different turn. Following its success in New York and Paris, the critically acclaimed and multi-Tony Award-winning Broadway musical about love, hope, and discovering one’s self, comes to West End.
