Bringing the popular fairy tales ‘3 Little Pigs’ and ‘Goldilocks’ and the ‘Three Bears to life’ on stage, Niki McCretton and Stuff and Nonsense return to the Theatre Royal Plymouth with ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ that will run through January 14, 2017.Inspired by the muppets and old fashioned family movies, the plot takes the audience through a classic fairy tale of a king who is obsessed with what he wears and loves his wardrobe more than anything else in the world. Yet, he has nothing to wear for the royal procession on his birthday. Enter two tailors, who promise to make him the most exquisite outfit that he has ever laid his eyes upon. Little does he know the hilarious repercussions of this outfit. The play abounds in music, songs, puppets, and most off all plenty of laughs coupled with great storytelling.
