Legendary radio rock band Defunkt headed by the charismatic Joseph Bowie will take centrestage at Quasimodo, Berlin on January 6 and 7, 2017.Defunkt was founded in New York City at the end of the 1970s. From the beginning, it was one of the leading radio jazz bands in the Americas and has influenced megabands as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Living Color. Defunkt was one of the first bands to combine a variety of music styles with the radio. With well-known colleagues, such as James Brown, David Burne or the Talking Heads, 15 albums were published in various compositions, with different sounds and content.The show will be performed at Quasimodo, Kantstraße 12A, 10623 Berlin, Germany.
