National Award winner Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is going to dine with US President Barack Obama at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner this weekend. Priyanka will be dining with some of Hollywood's biggest names like Will Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, Kim Kardashian's model sister Kendall Jenner among others.The non-profit White House Correspondents' Association, whose members include the reporters, producers, camera operators and other journalists regularly covering the White House, traditionally hosts this annual dinner to raise money for journalism scholarships.Priyanka, who found the global recognition with her character Alex Parrish in the American TV series "Quantico", was invited to the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner with US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.Recently Priyanka was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri by President Pranab Mukherjee, the award which she says is the best award she has ever received in her career. The actress ventured into Bollywood in 2003 with the film “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy” followed by “Andaaz”, “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi”, “Krrish”, “Fashion” and “Bajirao Mastani”. After winning a People's Choice Award for her lead female performance in Quantico, she is all set to star in the new Baywatch movie.The international star has now bagged a place in 2016 Time magazine's 100 most influential people's list alongside Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and singer Nicki Minaj, among others.In a recent interview with TIME, Priyanka explained that as a young actress, she was treated as a dime a dozen. "I don't want to be called an actor, I don't want to be called a star. I think that the movies that I do, I'm irreplaceable and the boys are replaceable," says Priyanka.Actor-producer Dwayne Johnson, who has shared screen space with Priyanka in Baywatch, described the actress as a "star rising higher." He says, "Before ever meeting Priyanka Chopra, I had heard her name coming out of Bollywood and was impressed: she was beautiful, talented, had made nearly 50 movies, earned multiple awards a massive star.
