Five years after their last album, British electronica icons The Chemical Brothers announced their eighth studio album “Born in the Echoes” to be released on July 17, 2015. Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, who first got together in Manchester over their shared creative pursuit of acid house, techno and hip hop music, were among the pioneers of their genre. Two singles, “Sometimes I Feel So Deserted” and “Go”, are already out; and the French film director Michel Gondry of “Be Kind Rewind” and “The Science of Sleep” fame has directed the music video for “Go”.In the years since their last album “Further” (2010), The Chemical Brothers have released a live album “Don’t Think”; created the soundtrack for the film “Hanna”; teamed up with Lorde and Miguel for a track on the soundtrack of “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1”; and created music for the Velodrome at the London 2012 Olympics. The legendary duo are also set to hit the festival circuit this year, starting with Glastonbury in June, Sonar in Barcelona on June 20, Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September, and the Hard Summer music festival in California on August 1.This is the album track list:1.
