The popular fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk is recreated for the stage in Pantomime at the Norwich Theatre Royal from December 13, 2016, through January 15, 2017.This traditional family pantomime has been written and directed by Richard Gauntlett. The story centers on poor and down on his luck Jack, who is tricked into sell his family cow and in exchange gets handed a few beans. When he returns home his mother is livid and throws the beans on the ground. There on starts the adventure of Jack as the beans are magical and sprout a giant beanstalk. The cast for the pantomime includes Wayne Sleep as Phineas P Stinkworthy, Richard Gauntlett as Nigella Trottalot, Ben Langley as Silly Trottalot, David Burilin as Jack Trottalot, Mira Ormala as Jolene Hiccup, David Gant as the Sheriff Phil Hiccup and Harriet Bunton as Dolly the Fairy.
