Royal National Theatre, London, presents a new version of Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler by Patrick Marber (Three Days in the Country, The Red Lion) on stage at the Lyttelton Theatre through March 21, 2017.The play is renowned as a hallmark of realism and nineteenth-century drama and the character of Hedda Gabler has been recognized as one of the greatest dramatic roles in theater. A riveting and poignant play about power, deception, love, and innocence lost, this play brings out the unbridled powerhouse of the central character and her association with each individual roles in the play. It features Ruth Wilson (Luther, The Affair) in the title role and Rafe Spall (Black Mirror, The Big Short) as Brack.
