The Seattle Opera will be presenting the opera 'The Magic Flute' at its at McCaw Hall from May 6 to 21, 2017.Originally composed by Mozart, the opera is a colorful fantasy, blending together myth, magic, and an astonishing variety of scintillating music that establishes the power of love over all. Under the crafty direction of Chris Alexander, the opera states the story of a handsome prince and his comical sidekick who are given enchanted musical instruments and the task of rescuing the Queen of the Night’s daughter from the captivity of a mysterious group of priests, in the course of which the prince realizes the reality beneath the façade of the magical land.
